It is difficult to put a general time table since losses vary in severity and complication.  However, a known fact when dealing with the insurance company is, patience is a virtue.  The insurance company strives on wearing policy holders down, month after month giving them the run around endlessly hoping the towel is thrown in. 

So the best advice is to 'honker down' and enjoy the ride. 

We strive to reach an acceptable settlement in the shortest amount of time possible however, many variables can effect the overall time frame.  If you have a more complicated loss and extensive damages, the process can take several months.  Even with a less severe loss, the claims process can last between several weeks to several months.
